LTC-SW Board Changes

At the post-convention meeting this year we had several people indicate that they would be excited to be a part of the LTC-SW board. The current board members voted and we are extremely happy to announce the following people are now part of the LTC-SW board.

• Josie DePasse – Josie is a member of the Palo Verde Church of Christ in Tucson, Arizona and she has been involved in LTC since 1995. She started off as a C.H.A.R.M.er and is now the Event Director for Bulletin Board, Christian Art, Scrapbook and Worship Banner. Josie has a special place in her heart for special needs children. She will be looking to strengthen that particular aspect of LTC-SW. If you have any interest in this area, contact her at poohbearus@msn.com.
• Cecil Price – Cecil is the minister at the Village Meadows Church of Christ in Sierra Vista, Arizona. He has been involved with LTC-SW for the past 6 years and is currently the Event Director for Large and Small Choruses. During the Opening Ceremony at the 2009 convention you might remember that he wrote an original song based upon the LTC theme and taught it to us. Cecil is very involved in almost anything musical and wants to help us all further our voices towards praising God. If you have a similar spirit then please contact Cecil at cepym1@msn.com.
• Jeanne Holt – Jeanne is a member of the Palo Verde Church of Christ in Tucson, Arizona and she has been involved with LTC for 6 years. She has coordinated several LTC related events for Palo Verde. Jeanne has a strong desire to keep the fire in the LTC program, getting more kids involved and to help LTC keep its focus on Christian development. Are you interested in these aspects of LTC, too? • Verlon Carrell – Verlon is the minister at the Gateway Church of Christ in Gilbert, Arizona. He has been involved with LTC-SW for one year... but has been involved with Lads to Leaders for the past 12 years! The board is very anxious to work with Verlon and to draw upon his experiences with the organization where Leadership Training for Christ got its start. Verlon is going to be working with Steve Sior regarding the Convention Events Director role. Verlon has a real servant's heart and wants to help wherever he can. On May 19th the board met and discussed where each of us would like to serve. The results of this discussion are documented below. However, the board is only a small part of what it takes to organize Leadership Training for Christ. There are many people that assist these people and many more are needed. If you see an area that interests you then please contact the board member and offer your help.
